Welcome to "The Gods Are Bored!" Summer vacation from school has begun, and of course I had high hopes for all the bored gods I would interview here and all the vast knowledge I would disseminate through this fine site.
Alas, first I have a little housekeeping to do. The buzzards help, but they don't eat everything.
I was never an expert at keeping a tidy house when I worked at home. Going out to work every day has only made matters worse. If you factor in the faeries, it's going to be a three-month battle to find those pesky kitchen scissors.
The good news is that I thought I didn't have any back seats in my car. After clearing out the debris, I found the back seats. But now I can't find my front yard.
There is a Bored Goddess here today. Her name is Chaos, and she is having a whopper of a good time!

Just take it one step at a time. Enjoy your Summer vacation; you've earned it!
Chaos has a blast at my place. My boys rooms are prime examples of Chaos at work.
Then there's the rest of my house.
All Hail the mighty Chaos!
The goblins have taken my staple gun and my ladle. They're probably with your kitchen shears.
If you have trouble finding your kitchen scissors, you can try petitioning Anoia, Goddess of Things Stuck in Drawers. She seems to be most fond of those items lost and found and stuck in kitchen drawers.
Oh, Also, enjoy your summer!
That goblin who takes things like the scissors, is called The Snatcher around here. Sometimes if you yell and stamp your feet, The Snatcher gives it back. Look in that same place you just looked in four times....
Discordia's a lovely goddess, ain't she? *winks and chomps down on a healthy Golden delicious apple*
There's a secret place somewhere in the universe where all things taken, snatched or lost are having a great party, laughing their heads, or blades or staples off watching us ...
Better just locate a nice cup of tea, somewhere.
The Sumerians had a God called Arazu, the 'God of completed construction'. If you ever meet him, can you tell me where and how and put in a word for me??
Maybe the buzzards took the kitchen shears to help them get the shrinkwrapped plastic off the frozen turkeys they keep finding in the fields...
