After all where do you think this idea of hording for the progress of society that capitalism is so big on came from? It is frighting how far up the latter the religious right will go. Being a polytheist I never have found the concept of worship, as i is in modern vernaculars, all that appealing. But I do agree with your basic premise. The deities are like people, they crave and need attention, and affection, just like people. This Judo-Christian god has kind of hogged the spot light wouldn't you say?<BR/><BR/>By the way, this is by far one of the most entertaining pagan / nature centric “religious” blogs I have found.
