They were so hot in Dallas Texas around the mid-late 1960's!
Of course they would never pass the "Choking Risk" test of today, but neither could the really good "Atomic Fireball" candies.
I thank there were "Fink" erasers that sliped over the ends of those fat, primary school pencils?

I know the politically incorrect, but much loved,"Fritto Banditto",came in that form.

Till today,I never knew the history of that well remembered part of my childhood, the "Fink"!

Thanks!Mendacity Iveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09526789575563463823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12171673.post-59054394968567189142009-05-28T16:19:56.244-04:002009-05-28T16:19:56.244-04:00I found this blog pretty much by accident.

Only the ancient and vintage squirts from the 60's.

Maybe a necklace of them like the Heir's RF necklace.

Besides, I live about 5 miles or so from the Arsbaks at 5 Arts studios- the Smokey Mtn. trolls are my close friends and neighbors. Even though I am Swedish and they are Norwegian.Goat Yodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06161189045950693399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12171673.post-76053611831719549212009-01-12T23:03:00.000-05:002009-01-12T23:03:00.000-05:00she is such a cutie..I remember the rat finks..I t...she is such a cutie..
I remember the rat finks..I think my sons had some ...I built my daughter a huge sandbox, with a roof...(she was so fair she would blister in the tx sun, so built a roof on it..) one day i was sitting on the porch and she was playing in the sand box..this is what i heard'cat poop, cat poop, cat poop, oh...toy...cat poop cat poop...nudder toy..' i cracked up..she was tossing the cat poop over her shoulder as blase as she could be..was about 3 years old..yellowdoggrannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14906624317290990109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12171673.post-76785383524955675042009-01-12T14:15:00.000-05:002009-01-12T14:15:00.000-05:00Very cool and you daughter is so cute.Very cool and you daughter is so cute.sagewebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06818567803401688931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12171673.post-21468255424815699852009-01-11T21:35:00.000-05:002009-01-11T21:35:00.000-05:00Hmmmm.......I grew up in the wrong part of the cou...Hmmmm.......I grew up in the wrong part of the country, I guess. My iconic toys were those green army men you got in that cardboard locker, and if you were lucky, the tanks and halftracks that went with a well-equiped army. This was the kind of army you faught germans with. It would be awhile before we became confused by Vietnam. I it would be MUCH later before I began to wonder why killing was something you "played" as a child, at least the boy child. The girls still had their easy-bake ovens, and any boy who claimed not to secretly want one for themselves is a bald-faced liar.Alex Pendragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15877845166621794334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12171673.post-79949565492922500612009-01-11T21:16:00.000-05:002009-01-11T21:16:00.000-05:00The Heir looks amazingThe Heir looks amazingHecatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09291488568404382739noreply@blogger.com
