I am not originally from the South so it was a huge adjustment when we were transferred here 24 years ago. But I have found kindred spirits here, both pagan and un, and have seen a lot of progress made regarding race and policy. I think you are correct in stating there is more of a rural and urban divide in politics than a north/south split.
