Guest Bloggers

Welcome to "The Gods Are Bored," the religious road less taken! Fewer potholes and no toll booths. Enjoy the ride!

I will be gone for an unspecified number of days or weeks. In the meantime, I've invited two guest contributors to this space:

1. My daughter The Spare. She's just beginning her first week of high school. She loves ducks, drama, and fictional vampire men -- not necessarily in that order.

2. My friend Muin. He'll tell you what he thinks you should know about him.

Please don't desert us here at "The Gods Are Bored!" Your patronage is valuable to us, and to the wide community of forgotten faiths that are yearning to be freed!

Cheerio, my pets.

I haven't been visiting here very long, but I assume that's The Spare in the picture? Unless the ducks are very clever red herrings... But working on the theory that it is her, she's pretty. (Of course the girl is pretty no matter who she is...)

Dear Spare,

Can we have a post about fictional vampire ducks? (Not to be mistaken with actual vampire ducks, the thought would keep me up even longer and I'm already sleep-deprived.)

MJ

PS. I don't think feeding them crisps is a good idea.

Well, then we as your loyal readers will also come to love ducks, drama and fictional vampire men.

Um, somehow. But ducks are cool.

OK, I can manage Elvira, Mistress of the Night, and the Afflack Duck, but Drama? No way! NO! I WON'T DO IT, YOU HEAR ME? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!!!!

OK, maybe a little drama...........

Anne, station your fairies close, and invision the sphere of protection all of us invoke about you. We welcome the Spare and hope she's even half as fascinating to read as you have been. OK, fine, we'll accept a quarter as fascinating........but no less!

And though I welcome your guest bloggers, may their stay here be very, very short.

Yes, "Spare", I don't blame you. But you are free, I suppose, to pick a suitably bloggeriffic nom-de-plume. Especially, since, heh heh, your Mom's not here.
